Dover Christ Church Academy and Active Community Development aim for every pupil to reach their full potential, throughout their 2 year journey.

To be able to achieve this outcome it is vitally important that we look to accept pupils who have the willingness to learn both within the academy and independently and who will strive to achieve the objectives set.

The Rugby Academy prides itself on its growing reputation and the overall atmosphere of the Dover Christ Church Academy which creates a positive learning environment.

We provide a comprehensive technical training program which implements a guided repetition coaching style. Here players will be exposed to a number of technical sessions on a regular basis. The sessions serve to replicate situations that occur during games.

Along with the on field training, the pupils will be provided with a first class education where they will gain grades and qualifications ensuring their development for future employment or University entry.

The Academy aims to develop each individual player technically, academically and personally.

The Purpose:

This is a program that seeks to realise the sporting potential of our young people in conjunction with educational advancement and achievement. The product will be options for students which can help to secure real futures for the committed individual.

The Value:

The Rugby Academy provision at DCCA secures teaching and coaching roles that will collaborate to offer local community more than just this Academy Rugby Program. Young people will be given the opportunities to gain those first step to advance to become coaches, Sports injury therapists, rugby players themselves.
